VOW workshops teach couples skills that are critical in the development of a long happy and committed relationship.  Don’t just “fall in love;” falling usually hurts, so decide now how your relationship will look.

Workshop Topics Include:

  • Explore personality traits – yes, opposites can attract as first but then can cause friction if differences and similarities aren’t explored in a healthy thoughtful manner. Learn how to leverage both partners’ personalities to strengthen the relationship!
  • Strengthen communication skills – develop simple, respectful communication patterns before marriage.
  • Learn to resolve conflict - if you have arguments OR simply don’t know how to stay focused on the issue, come learn a proven pattern to handle the challenges that your relationship may encounter.
  • Discuss roles and expectations – behind every disappointment is an unmet expectation - learn and listen as you both discuss schedules, chores and future responsibilities
  • Compare family backgrounds – what were family birthdays like when you were a child and why is that important when you get married?
  • Comfortably discuss financial issues – Have you discussed joint or separate accounts? How much debt do each of you have? What are your budgeting goals?
  • Goals – Most successes in life come only after a clear, logical set of goals has been decided. In the workshop you will establish personal, couple, and family goals.

Register in 3 Easy Steps:

Step 1: Choose a workshop date. (See below for current available dates)  Workshops are typically held 9:00am – 5:00pm on Saturdays. You will receive your graduation certificates at the completion of the workshop.
Step 2: Complete the registration form  and create a password for future use on the web-site for resources and articles.
Step 3: Pay online ($75 PER COUPLE) Use Pay Pal to pay by credit or debit card. Once you have paid, you receive an email confirming your seats for the workshop.

Workshop Cancelation Policy
Your $75 registration fee is non-refundable, but is transferable. Once registered, if unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending your workshop, you are welcome to attend another workshop in the following three months. However, if you cancel within 3 days of or fail to show up for the workshop, there will be a $35 transfer fee applied. All workshops are enrolled on a first come, first served basis.
